- The sequences of DNA will be cloned and validation specific sequences for the Polymerase gamma (POLG).
- To perform tissue culture transfection of mammalian cells with dCAS9-methylase plasmid system.
- To isolate DNA and assess the specific gene methylations by qPCR amplification.
- To validate methylation studies by protein expression analysis (e.g. by western blot).
