Description
Sacco and Vanzetti and Racial Profiling:

Sacco and Vanzetti is a case that exposes the weaknesses and unbridled bias of the early part of the 2oth century’s justice system. High crime, the massive wave of immigrants, xenophobia, unrest in labor and the rise of social movements impacted the ways “the system” treated unsupported and vulnerable individuals. Were Sacco and Vanzetti “victims” of an unfair justice system? Was the fact that they were admitted Anarchists not only a liability but a reason for their doom? (In other words, even though they got an unfair trial, did their political affiliations condemn them?) ) In any case, justice was not served. How would you analyze the case today and what do think would happen in this day and age?
